love getting to be a part of the first week of a little life.
this sweet family so graciously let me linger for hours because i'm obsessed with them and they are incredibly kind, so we sipped sparkling water and talked newborn life and stared at Deltan's baby soft skin and took these precious shots of the first week of his little life
whitney & patrick :: elopement
when two amazon coworkers run away together.
Patrick asked Whitney to marry him last Monday. On Tuesday, they went to the courthouse. Some of their close friends came to witness, and everyone headed to celebrate at their favorite little cocktail joint afterwards.
Loved getting to document this joy and eagerness and promise and love. And thankful for the new friendships I got to make in the process.
ashley & connor :: engaged
I knew i loved Ashley the minute she hopped in my car for this shoot and started applying stick on nails from Bartells. We were obviously kindred spirits.
These two met their freshmen year of architecture school when Ashley found out Connor was from Alaska and decided he was her best friend. The rest is history.

some people are just impossible to not be in love with.
april, nick and I met up in longboat key and climbed on old driftwood and got a lot of whistles from spring breakers and laughed a ton. these two are too good to be true.
shiloh : newborn
shiloh alexandra schiller.
this one is personal to me because I happen to be an aunt to this little love. but my opinion that she is the most beautiful newborn i've ever seen is totally unbiased.

kimmy & taylor
These two.
Kimmy and Taylor celebrated their third anniversary playing dress up with me and reading letters to each other on the beach. I think all of us cried at one point.
It's powerful to hear a husband and wife's words to each other after they've already endured married life together. These two have handled a cross country move, a newborn and now toddler, an (almost done!) doctorate program for Taylor, and soon to be another cross country move.
Watching them laugh and play together. Compete in a year long game of slug bug. Dance with each other. Sing to each other. It was beautiful.

rattlesnake ridge wedding
when you meet people that you adore immediately. mj and johnathens love story is my favorite thing ever, ask them to hear it if you ever have the privilege of meeting them. they planned this wedding a week before it, and off we hiked up to the top of rattlesnake ridge- tracksuits, veils, umbrellas and all. with a handful of friends and the reverend. love these people.
the bosch family
meet the bosch's. the kind of family you want to adopt you because look how freaking fun they are
little atlas did his michael jackson dance for me. they had a pretty adorable pillow fight. prepped some dinner. read the good book together. hopped on the scooter (atlas does that everyday, ha!) and then we ran around a field together.
it was a good evening.
