quarantine renovation dream
natalie and nate paraded through pike place last year with their entire wedding party. then we got to document day 1 of marriage. then they renovated a west seattle dream home this year and i got to come over and document that. at this rate, i am coming over every year to document EVERYTHING.
we paired wine and oreos. we made macaroni. we toured through every inch of their home that they poured their blood sweat and tears into. we went longboarding. and then i watched them make out on their front porch. it was the perfect quarantine day.
love you natalie and nate. thank you for becoming friends and letting me in so intimately. honored to get to be a part of your beautiful life.
in their new home
mack & kyle
bought their house last year and it is a literal dream and of course we had to document them in their space. and also sunny is the cutest.
twelve years
lacey & daniel.
getting to capture their marriage at 12 beautiful years was a (refreshing) world of a difference then an engagement shoot or a wedding. there’s a weight to being married for 12 years and i wanted to capture that. you arent full to the brim of whats to come anymore - you have been through whats to come, hand in hand, and owned it. it was an honor to be a part of their anniversary and their story.
you guys are the best.
last home in austin
first home together.
leaving a place where so many firsts happen has its own mourning process. there is a kind of heartache saved for detaching to walls where you loved and were loved in. sarah and abe spent their whole lives of being together here, and we had to document before they packed up for california.
love you new friends, texas will miss you.
at ida house
claire & adam at Ida house
being inside this home with all its heart and soul was a dream. and to get to be in the middle of a project of Claire’s and get to see what goes into making things look the way she makes them look was incredible. Ida house is a home that Claire is restoring and we got it at the perfect time in its beautiful bones but all its potential showing. you feel enchanted inside of it.
claire and adam together make you feel warm and loved and whole and getting to follow them around for an evening and end it being best friends forever is wonderful and im thankful for it.
you can see claire’s incredible work and follow along with Ida house here
anniversary at common fords
molly & chris.
we took tequila shots and ran through burs then picked them off each other then took another tequila shot to recover from that. picking burs off of each other is bonding. we are all best friends now.
happy anniversary you beauts.
adeline & carter
adeline & carter
we drove to pace bend park and rolled around in the weeds and cactus’s and dodged spider webs and jumped off the cliff

in the texas wildflowers
amy and dale
are the wonderful beautiful husband and wife team of the floral genius of Earl Grey Floral. everything they touch turns to gold because they themselves are made of gold. we ran around the slippery rocks and watched dale fall in.
forever in palm springs
logan and adam.
they are palm springs and palm springs is them. they are full of style and joy and sunny and warm and everything about them is easy to love. i am hoping both of their mothers adopt me into their familys because they are wonderful and that legacy was felt in every relationship and detail this weekend and then i can be related to logan and adam and spend thanksgiving with them.
love you two x a million. beyond thankful to be a part of your day.
cody & keifer at home
well, mostly at home. we also ran around a queen anne’s lace field but that seemed like an excessive amount of words to put in the main title.
these engaged lovers are the kindest in the universe who trusted me to follow them around their house while i was 1,000 weeks pregnant. but i will say, pregnant me is really blowing me away with how creative and talented she is so i think it worked out for everyone. i give goldie credit, the small human i am waiting to come out any day now. she must be super good at photography too.
anyway, back to cody and keifer. i’ll let you just dream about how beautiful their love is based off this goodness. enjoy.
morning after in the city
these lovers in their downtown apartment on their first morning of marriage.
downtown seattle wedding
natalie & nate.
i’ve never seen people smile this much ever.
they said their vows basically at home - it was the rooftop of their building downtown, with views on every side of seattle and the olympic mountains. then had the parade to top all parades to where the reception was at a brewery underneath Pike Place - where everyone danced very, very hard.
love you guys. thankful I had the honor of documenting this for you.

mill valley wedding
i literally planned getting knocked up around this wedding bc these two are that good and i couldn’t miss out.
brian and julia are everything you want to be when you grow up. they are gentle and kind and they care about your soul and you feel that when you talk to them. you feel loved and calm and then you want to be around them more and more and ya know a constant cycle of just loving being around them.
they are both san francisco dwellers, but have a deep love for sweet mill valley and all its breathtaking charm. so they said their i do’s at the gorgeous outdoor art club and danced harder than anything i’ve ever seen in my life.
love you two.
married on puget sound
cassia & jason
every single thing cassia touches turns to gold because she is a creative genius, which makes walking around shooting all her details she’s been scheming up in her beautiful brain my personal heaven.
these two are so right together and i love watching their love. and i am waiting for them to move up to this pnw heaven so we can all be together forever.
so stoked for you cassia and jason. love you two. xxxxx
running around chianti
no one wants to leave their friends and family on their wedding day to drive around for two hours chasing the light. which is why doing it the next day is the perfect day for it.
pete and sarah in greve, chianti.
married in italy
pete & sarah’s wedding.
a 45 minute drive south of florence, in the hills of chianti, there is a little town called greve that is everything you would imagine a little charming italian town to be. a short walk up the hill is a little castle on a vineyard that was home to sarah and pete’s family and friends for this week of heaven in june.
it was spent scootering around to the wineries. laying by the pool. four hour dinners together every night that were capped off with brandy and cigars.
and then wedding day. the boys went to get straight razor shaves that morning. the pharmacist next door to the barber came and took shots with them. the girls sipped champagne and steamed dresses and got dolled up by the sweet italian hairdressers. everything ran on italian time which is no rush ever which gave me mild anxiety but didn’t want to look like a stressed out american so played it chill.
they said their vows underneath the sun drenched archway that was dripping in blooming roses. sarah has been wanting her dad to marry her since she was a kid, so of course, he did. neither sarah or her dad were confident he could make it through the ceremony without breaking down, but through crocodile tears, he made it.
pete & sarah practiced their waltz for months for this day, but when sarah’s dress was just long enough for her to trip over every time they tried, they had to dance the way the rest of us do. which is just kind of happily winging it. and they laughed through the whole thing.
and then dinner. underneath the moonlight. it was, of course, another four hour dinner as they do in italy. but with florentine steak grilled by the owner of the vineyard, jean paolo, and ending with tiramisu. and then another four hours of dancing until 2am which might sound late but I think we all could have gone another 4 hours.
i hadn’t met these two before we got together to talk wedding photos, but both of us had new puppies. and one puppy play date turned into another one which turned into one every week. sometimes two a week. sarah and i loved each other from the beginning but our husbands are cut from the same cloth as well, which is a really good recipe for easy, kindred friends. it made making it through their wedding day trying to be professional exciting. it made it so garrett was honored to read a piece at their ceremony. i even put my camera down and gave a little toast during dinner which was jumbled but i had to.
we love you two so much. so excited for what you will do with this life together. and so honored to call you dear friends.
sunday with birdie & maxwell
sunday morning doing what they do every sunday morning.
sip coffee and dance in the living room and curl up and cuddle and play some music and long board through the alleys.
my favorite thing in the world is engagement pictures being exactly where engaged life happens. in the everyday of the season.
love these souls. they are pure and made for each other.
married in suncadia
i left this day full and happy because that’s how everyone walks away from Jen & Jason. they love hard and play hard and every single one of their friends feels it.
love you two. so excited for your beautiful life together. xxx
